Being thankful.
It’s a choice.
Not determined by the day.
Not dependent on others.
Not designed to get something.
It’s a choice.
To be above the fray.
To be attuned to your heart.
To be attentive to their heart.
Who or what are you thankful for? Who makes your life easier? What situation brings you joy? Who trusts you? Who challenges you to excel? Who do you trust?
It doesn’t have to be earth-shattering. Just choose something or someone and say “Thank you. I am grateful.” Simple.
Dear Reader, I’m thankful for you. For the small acts of kindness that no one sees. For volunteering even when you’re tired. For not tossing an insult when you could have. For what you do every day to have relationships, workplaces, and communities work better for everyone, including you.
Onward together, even when we’re apart.
